The weather was terrible last night! No stars but quite a light show....constant lightning and rain, man oh man did it rain. We did discover to our dismay that the Taj (affectionate name for the tent) leaks a bit but, hea....what do you expect? Being as the weather forecast was 90% chance of rain and thunderstorms, we decided to put our float trip off a day and headed into San Antonio.

Thumbs up to San Antonio.....Very well marked streets for the attractions....river walk, Alamo and such. It was easy in and easy out with good times in between.....We visited of course the Alamo....

And enjoyed the sights of downtown.
Hopefully, the weather tomorrow will lend itself for our trip down river....we have never paddled a river with an actual CURRENT!! wish us luck!
